I really am just a Jesus Girl... a lover and follower of Jesus and His way of doing, being and living!

I remember when I thought that being a Material Girl was going to make me happy or being a Sorority Girl was going to fix what was broken on the inside of me. I can tell you that I did not find any peace as the Around-the-way Girl, and I certainly did not find a sense of belonging, acceptance or approval in being a Hollaback Girl.

Looking back, at times my life, I looked like Girl Gone Wild. Hence, I thought being a Church Girl would eventually tame me—set me free from my Stupid Girl behavior—again, the wrong answer. Lo and behold, when I made Jesus Lord over every area of my life, I found MY identity in being a child of the Most-High God!

Having been in church ministry since 1994, my resume reflects service in a variety of capacities: training ushers, Sunday School teacher, full-time student ministry director, praise team member, director of worship ministries, director of prayer ministry, pastor executive assistant, cleaning the restrooms, planting two churches...you name it, it is my pleasure, because I love to serve the people of God in the House of God. I have been blessed with many Grace Gifts of which I know are only bestowed by the Holy Spirit. I am keenly assured that when God saved me to the uttermost; also meant that He saved me from the fruitless, lifeless, and pointless works of tradition.

It is true, I found great gratification in serving, but it was only when I trusted the Truth of God's love, only when I believed the reality of His acceptance, and received the distinction of His approval; that this radical transformation ensued. My eyes were opened and I realized that "the way I am" is because of the "why I am." It is all tied to PURPOSE!

Consequently, I am no longer ashamed of the call of God on my life as an apostolic leader, pastor/teacher who births ministries, develops Kingdom leaders, and mobilizes intercessors. I am passionate about seeing people walk out of bondage into the freedom for which Christ paid (Galatians 5:1). I am equally passionate about being a catalyst for others to embrace their "why I am" through the love, acceptance, and approval gained from intimacy with our Father and a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ!
